Inspired by the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, the 4c Spider is a stunning head-turner. With Alfa Romeo design and production performed at the Maserati manufacturing HQ in Modena, the 4c Spider was always guaranteed to be a winner.
The 4c Spider is beautifully sculpted across the bonnet, around the generous air intakes and through to the rear, where dual exhausts sit below distinctive recessed tail lights. Alloy wheels are 17 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, for optimal performance and road holding.
Step inside the 4c Spider to make the world your oyster. The sophisticated black interior is both stylish and functional. Padded sports seats give comfort and support for the drive, while the steering wheel is specially designed for easy access to controls. Aluminium pedals add to the sporty look and feel. When you want to let the sunshine in, the fabric roof is quick and easy to remove and can be stowed neatly in the bag provided.
In order to optimise performance, the 4c Spider is constructed from lightweight materials such as carbon fibre, aluminium and SMC - a low-density composite material. Weighing in at a mere 940kg, and with a four-cylinder 1.7-litre turbocharged engine, it is hardly surprising that the 4c Spider can move from 0-60mph in just 4.5 seconds. Perhaps somewhat surprising is the fuel efficiency, which averages an impressive 41.5mpg. The braking system incorporates perforated discs for enhanced ventilation, and is so effective that you can bring the car to a halt from 62mph in as little as 36 metres. Gear changes and acceleration are enhanced by the twin-dry semi-automatic clutch system. The maximum torque is 350 Nm, and 80 percent of this can be accessed at 1700rpm. With a top speed of 160mph the 4c Spider is equally at home on the race track as it is on the road.
Alfa Romeo has limited numbers of the 4C Spider for release in the UK. If you would like to get behind the wheel of the 4c Spider, call in today to take it for a test drive.
